I spend lots of time worrying about what people think when they come into my home.....especially when its untidy. This morning I was cleaning and thought of this:
Please Judge me By my Messy House!
There are finger prints on the mirror made by mischievious, healthy children
There is tea stains on the table from strong bonds and friendships
There is fur on the floor from the most loving and loyal pet and friend I have ever had
There is 3 unmade beds from an extra 9 minutes of much needed rest
There are dirty dishes in the sink because we are fortunate enough to have food on our table
There are beads in every nook and cranny because I am lucky to make money doing what I love
There are textbooks scattered across the kitchen because I was brave enough to try something different
There is little cut pieces of paper on the floor from small creative minds thinking of BIG things
There are muddy boots prints on the floor from children who feel comfortable enough in my home to visit (and stay)
There are garbage bags by the back door because the term "out with the old and in with the new" applies to more areas of life than we know about...
So please....come in....judge me by my house because all it will tell you is that we are happy, healthy and loved!!
"please excuse my messy house, the kids are making memories"
